Popular belief would have you believe that the unicorn is a mythical, mystical, and magical white horse with a single pearl-like spiraled horn sticking awkwardly from it's forehead. Many people use this popular image in an attempt to discredit the Bible. They claim that a book that would mention a mythical creature surely can not be true. But has the unicorn always been envisioned this way? Is it possible that the unicorn is merely an animal that we all know today by a different name? The King James Version is the only version of the English Bible that uses the word “unicorn”. Other versions of the Bible use the phrase “wild oxen”. There is one major problem with this. By definition, the word “unicorn” means single horn. Oxen, among other bovine, have two horns. Some might dismiss this as a simple mistranslation but Psalm 92:10 describes the unicorn as having a single horn rather than two horns. Short answer: They serve a purpose for Him. Paul writes in Romans 9, "...O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, 'Why have you made me like this?' Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor? What if God, wanting to show His wrath and make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?" Scripture is clear that the people destined for Hell have a purpose. God tolerates the children of flesh so He can express His great riches upon His children. Eonity was a small town that lay to the west of the great city of Tontrio. Despite being such a small town, it was divided by a towering stone wall with a great gate. The town on one side of the wall was beautiful. The roads were made of stone and the buildings were architectural masterpieces. Only the highest of class were allowed on this side of the gates. On the other side of the wall, the roads were made of dirt and the buildings were shacks made of straw and twigs. This was low-class side of Eonity where the poor scratched out their meager existance. Unlike most cities in the land, Eonity consisted of mostly high-class, rich citizens, many more than the poor low-class citizens. As in most cities though, the rich were not fond of the poor. They thought of them more as pests than human, and in need of extermination rather than charity. However, as long as they had the wall to separate them, the rich tolerated the peasants. Short answer: Angels There has long been a debate of the identity of the sons of God mentioned in Genesis 6. While Genesis does not directly identify them, speculation generally identifies them as as either the fallen angels or the Godly bloodline of Seth. Many people who believe that Seth's bloodline are the sons of God use Bible verses such as Mark 12:25 to justify their belief that angels do not marry as stated in Genesis 6. While this is true for the "angels of heaven" which are obedient to God. This is not necessarily true for those not in heaven anymore, the "fallen angels". Angels are forbidden from marrying, just as they are not supposed to disobey God, or rebel against Him. However, we know from the Bible, that some did, a third of all there were in fact. Short Answer: His sister or possibly his niece. The name and origin of Cain's wife has long been a mystery for many people. No woman, other than Eve, is mentioned in the Bible before her. She seems to appear from nowhere. In fact, Cain's wife is only mentioned very briefly as bearing a son named Enoch, whom we will discuss at some other time. I believe we can identify her as follows: According to Genesis, Adam was the first man and Eve was the first woman. While Cain and Abel are the first mentioned children of Adam and Eve, it is very unlikely that they were the only children born of this pair before the time of the first murder. After all, God specifically told them while in the Garden of Eden to be "fruitful and multiply". It is a fact that a woman can potentially have a child approximately once a year throughout her fertile life. "The Morgan Theory" is a collection of ideas and thoughts from the mind of J. Morgan. The purpose of this blog is to help bring the answers to some of the most difficult questions man asks pertaining to the Bible and God. The entire "Theory" is that all of the answers are there just beyond the sight of of our physical eyes.
